I have a new laptop with a 'MATSHITA DVD-RAM UJ-810 C100' DVD-R/DVD-RW/DVD-RAM drive installed in it internally (Packard Bell Easynote E3245 Laptop)
I have nero installed, dvd Movie Factory and Vegas+DVD
I can burn DVD-RW disks with nero and blank them fine.
I can burn DVD-RW disks with Movie Factory and blank them fine.
I cannot burn anything to the same disk when I put it into DVD Architect.
This is the error I get:
CD/DVD Operation
An unknown drive error has occured

I have looked up other posts about this but I have rendered the file and it is only about 1GB in size. It is these folders I am burning with nero (ie the rendered files that Architect has produced in its 'temp' folder) Nero burns the data just fine.
What is up with Architect - does it not support this drive?
Its a bit annoying to have to use Nero to burn the data that Arthictect should be
burning itself.
Any ideas?
Using Windows XP Home by the way. All drivers/OS up to date.
I just opened up a brand new DVD-RW disk and tried again - same result!
You press burn and within 2 seconds the drive has ejected with the above error.

I was feeling brave and inserted a new DVD-R disk instead - again I got the same
above error.
