DVD Architect burn is blank

I have a project that I am attempting to burn. When I choose the burn option in Architect, the resulting DVD cannot be read by anything (even Windows Explorer).

I can take the same files and burn with Nero with no problem.

I have checked everything I know to check, and do not know where to turn to correct this.

Anyt ideas?

Same here!

3 dics in a row - I put the DVD-R into the drive and Windows thinks its a blank disc. I have tried 1X 2X and 4X with cheap and brand name media. I have an LG GSA-4120B (I bought it here in Japan so I am not sure if this is an international model).

Now the trick I found this morning is that when I load up PowerDVD the disc plays fine. I am thinking that maybe its the Volume Name that is creating this problem. I am using a name that includes spaces, so maybe we can't?? I am going to check and find out.

I left the volume name defaulted to "New".

After I burn, when I try to find the files in Explorer, Windows cannot see anything on the disk.

I would like to use DVDA to burn as I have a slight problem with NERO when DVDA makes the files too large. Iget an error in NERO that I understand I will not get if I can use DVDA to burn the disks.

I have tried projects large and small, and varying speeds, and it continues to corrupt the disk. I know something is on the disk as I cannot burn it again.

Any ideas anyone?

All the same here... Windows loads blank.

Have you tried opening the DVD from a software player? I can get it to work from PowerDVD.

For now I am using some burning software that came with my LG drive to burn 'folders' of DVDs... so I prep the DVD in Arch. then use another program to burn it.

I hope that this can be fixed.

Sorry to be bumping this all the time...

Just did a test by burning the DVD folders with LG's Power Producer gold and it worked fine... so I tried one more time in DVDA and changed the title and all was fine this time round. Maybe it was the title to begin with.
