This came with my software. I have it installed, but when i try to make a DVD, it says its not. There's a desktop icon and everything

you might try going to my account, registering (if you haven't) and checking on your software activation keyes. Perhaps you haven't activated it yet? When you say "It says its not" do you mean the program starts up normally, but reaches a point where it says you must register or activate? Or are you saying the program did not install properly?

Try running it directly. You need dvdarchst40.exe which, by default should be in c:\ program files\sony\DVD Architect Studio 4.0. If there's a problem with it I'd expect that method to give you better error messages.
