You need DVD Architect to create menus and menu structures.

Vegas Movie Studio can only output an auto-start, single movie DVD.

Also, should your video need to be transcoded or compressed to fit on a disc, DVD Architect will automatically compress the video to fit.

So it's used to compliment Vegas Movie Studio? If VMS is your editing software, is DVD Architect Studio the complimenting software??

Are you sure you don't already have DVDA? It's usually included as part of the package.

I would say "yes" to that question. I always edit and render in VMS and then open the rendered files in DVDAS to create the menu and burn the DVD.

DVDAS came with my VMS HD Platinun Production Suite package.

So TOG62 is right, check your disks to see if DVDAS is on there. I think it is only bundled with the Production Suite version - hopefully that is what you have.

Start->Programs->Sony->DVD Achitect

The "Start" icon is on the lower left-hand corner of your screen.

Is it there?
Sorry, but it sounds like you are somewhat unfamiliar with Windows.

My DVDAS install software is on the main VMS install CD. It is in a subfolder (DVD Architect Studio 5.0) under the "setup" folder.

My main VMS setup screen also gave me the option to install VMS, DVDAS, and Sound Forge.

Check around on your CD again. You should be able to find these install options.

What musicvid said - it's there alright. Either the email that you received following purchase (download) or on the box if so purchased will contain the activation code.
As said earlier, locate it via the Start menu and then right click on it to either create a shortcut to the application of the desktop or as a button on the taskbar (Windows 7) is so desired.
