DVD Architect Themes

I am evaluating the "try out" version of DVD Architect. It is Version 1.0 (d), Build 230. Is this the latest version available?

In the "try out" version, there are only 15 themes to choose from, and these include, for example, only 1 wedding theme. Now I know that if you are very clever you can design your own themes, but I don't think I fall into this category!

Are there any additional themes available for downloading, or are there plans to expand the number of themes in DVD Architect? I really like the program, but I think there could be a few more themes to choose from.

Thanks for your help.

Regards, Fred

There is also a program available that helps you edit/design themes. It is available at:

You'll find the link at the bottom of the page.

Thanks very much for these replies. I have also tried substituting a digital photo for the theme's background image, and this worked quite well. If the photo is relevant to the video and has an area where the links can be placed, this seems a good alternative to a set theme. Do many people use this technique?

All the time - I hardly ever use a Theme - it seems far better to make a menu background unique to each project.

e.g. For a music performance at a vineyard, I took a still of a wine bottle and glasses on a table, then had a elipse shaped thumbnail of video playing in the label of the bottle.
