DVD Architect won't Open

I downloaded the DVD Architect on my computer (I have Windows XP) and it installed successfully, but when I go to open it nothing happens. Before I had purchased the program I had installed a 30 day trial and had the same problem. Does anyone have any ideas on how to fix this problem?

Have a look in Control Panel -> Administrative Tools->Event View.

Under System "Application" or "System" check if any warnings or errors are being reported in relation to DVDA or the disks on which the programs are installed.
