DVD burn in external burner

I entered to multimedia Vegas option for burning dvd's but I have to send the
signal to a Pioneer external burner but I didn't find an aditional option drive to burn the disc in other item than the internal one. Has the Vegas Multimedia CD option a possibility to burn a DVD in other drive than the inernal?

This really doesn't have anything to do with scripting. You might want to move the question to the normal Vegas forum.

Vegas doesn't burn DVDs - DVD Architect does. Vegas will burn CD's but you have to select the CD burner in the preferences. I haven't tried starting Vegas with an external burner turned on so I'm unsure if an external burner will appear in the preferences. If it does, I'm sure it would have to be turned on BEFORE Vegas is started.
