Not at this time. Lots of us use Ulead DVD MovieFactory 2 which is a pretty nice package for only $45. You create your movies with VideoFactory 2 and then output to AVI and author to DVD with DVD MovieFactory.

I use ULEAD but had to stop using it because I could never fix the 4:42 bug.. If I use ULEAD to make DVD's will I still have this problem?

I'm using Ulead VideoFactory and was wondering what the 4:42 bug was? I noticed that the program says you can fit 4.7 gig on a DVD, but I tried one that was about 4.2 gig and it said there wasn't enough room on the DVD. Is this what you are talkng about??

no thats not it.... For some reason when I produce a .avi in VF and bring it into ULEAD to convert it to MPEG2 ULEAD tell me the video is only 4:42sec. when in actuality it is 15minutes... noone has fixed this for me..

So what is the best DVD burner?

Thanks. I produce movies in MPEG instead of AVI, so I haven't hit the 4:whatever second problem yet. Just bought a Sony DRU-500AX. Works great.

Well,
You can't go wrong with the Pioneer A-04 or even A-05 (104, 105 as OEM).
The difference is in the speed and some minor firmware changes. (Clone CD only works with A-05 (105).
I have the A-04 at home and the 105 at work, so far didn't encountered any problems with any DVD-R or RW of any DVD brand. I use mostly PRINCO for under US$ 1.- a piece at Mediaoutlet.com.
But that's just my opinion anyway.
