DVD Burning

Gentlemen:

I am having a major problem with Architect. Not sure if it is the software or the media I am using. Currently burning DVD's using DVD+. I make and mail outy 150 per week to various church groups around the country. I have received a number of complaints that they are not working. I have tried the master and copies which I keep and found them all to work on 3 different DVD players.

Not sure but should I consider switching to DVD- and not use the plus DVD's.

I a using a Reflex 10 burner from Discmakers, plu their Reflex 7 model. Had not had this problem in suce a size in the past 2 years. Maybe a couple of bad disc which I considered some bad media in the batch.

If anyone can offer a suggestions please get back to me as soon as possible. As some that were mailed were time dated and need to be ready for a certian date.

Thanks,
Jeff Kerry

I would suggest switching to the DVD-R media. To some extent there is better compatibility among set top DVD players. Also I would suggest using Taiyo Yuden or Ritek G05 media.

Do the complaints always come from the same organization. If so, it may be their player.

Just my two cents,

Chad

I agree with Dach. What media are you using? Do you know the media ID that is actually on the disc? (You must read this with software, such as DVD Decrypter).

Also, you should go back and edit your original post to remove your email address. That is how the spammers get your email.

Tanks for the advise, I have been using the DVD+ but am trying the DVD- and will see what happens.
