DVD DL Burners

Just looking for a variety of opinons on who makes the DVD burner w/ BEST compatability ratings and can modify or set the Booktype.
I currently have the SOny DRU-700A, I can't seem to find in Nero 5.5.10 how to change that setting. Any help would be appreciated.
THe Taiyo Yuden media seems to be the best/most recommended from what I have read.

go to www.cdrinfo.com - they have reviews of lots of burners and one of the things they always test is the booktype. I got a NEC 3500 for DL media, but later added 4 LG units (sorry, don't remember the exact model but you can find them at cdrinfo.com) because they also let me set the booktype on SL media as well as DL.

I don't know what release of Nero allowed the booktype setting to be changed if supported - I've got 6 and it does allow this.

I've been very happy so far with Taiyo Yuden media; haven't had a single bad burn yet after 500+ DVDs.
