DVD image jitters

I am pulling my hair out. Have used DVD Arch for years.

Play from beginning looks fine but go to a scene menu and play to a chapter and you get what looks like the wrong field combo.
Have tried rendering all different kinds of mpgs using both bottom field first and top field first and the problem still exists.
Since the program plays fine when played from the beginning I have to assume that my mpg files are fine and that DVD ARCH is doing something. Thought maybe version 5 had a problem so went back to 4 and still the same issue. However this is the first project done on this computer since 5 has been installed.
Has anyone had this problem.
ANy suggestions?

I have the same problem, i emailed to sony but no solution was offered, seems like they do not know the answer to this problem.

I have been rendering as HDV ( original project is 1440x1080) to make m2t file and then
rendering met file as for BD or regular dvd... it helps.

burn a disc and play on a player through a TV- mine's jittery on the computer too - but not in my Bluray - that's for HD at least - I haven't really done too much with DVD format.
