Just make your own - it's really not that hard. I wish I could delete all my templates because they take a while to load and use memory that I would rather be used by the program.

What would you like to see in a DVDA template?

I'm with Steve. The real power of this program how much you can do with just a few clips -- add music in the background, add your own custom motion background to the pages, add transitional video clips before a menu page.

Meantime, have you visited Sony's free downloads page? You'll find lots of free motion backgrounds and DVD themes which can be used in the program.

And, of course, if you want to learn how to make this program do all kinds of tricks, you can always pick up my book on Amazon. ;)

And check out my free tutorials on the basics of using the program for some ideas on how to customize your menu pages using your own motion backgrounds and custom video.

"I wish I could delete all my templates..."

You say that as if you cannot delete them. Have you tried to do so?

Try it. DVDA won't let me delete "preinstalled" themes.

That is correct. At least working within the program, you can only delete the templates that you have manually created and added.

Or downloaded, as was my experience. I downloaded some of the templates from the "Downloads" area and found that they were duplicates. (Must have also done it sometime previously...) I was able to delete these.

BTW -- found out that you can delete all the themes using Explorer, but DVD-A will not start up if it can't find the 3 default themes.
