DVD menu with pdf files?

I want to create a play menu that includes not only videos, but also the ability to select documents like PDFs or Word files. Any idea how this can be done here or elsewhere?

You can include PDFs & Word docs in an Extras folder with DVDA, but they can only be accessed through Windows Explorer, not through the DVD menu system.
I'm not sure whether it's possible within the DVD structure - it may be. For full interactivity like this I would author a CD Rom, but this wouldn't hold as much video if that's a factor.
