DVD person looks fatter than mp4

When I play the MP4 video I created, the person looks fine on a computer. I burned a DVD from Movie Studio Platinum 13.0 build 987. I chose Make Movie, Burn to a DVD, DVD. and used the default settings like 16.9 NTSC. When I play it on my Samsung 65" TV using my Sony DVD player, the person clearly looks fatter, because the whole video seems to be stretched from side to side. Am I doing something wrong?

I tried a different format setting in Movie Studio - make a movie.

MPEG-2 720X480 60i 4:3 NTSC - it worked fine, the guy on the DVD on my TV was the same as he looked on my computer MP4 file
