DVD playback stops

After editing my videos using Vegas Movie Sudio Platinum 8.0 I send it to DVD Architect Studio 4.5 to burn. When I play the DVD's back they all stop after playing just fine for 5 to 7 minutes. I've tried to play 4 DVD's burned at different times on two TV top DVD players and two computer DVD players and they stop in the same place. The frozen image stays on the TV or screen for a minute or so then returns to the menu. I've all the updates for my hardware and software. I'm confused because I can use Nero on the same computer and DVD's come out fine. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Michael

It's very strange that all of your DVDs stop at exactly the same place with any DVD player. These issues are most often related to cheap media (like Memorex discs).

It's quite possible DVD Architect created a corrupted file. (Maybe something interrupted the original DVD encoding.) Have you tried doing a Save As and renaming the project and then having DVD Architect re-create the DVD files?

Problem solved. Your suggestion lead me to think about my media. While using another program to create DVD's a message appeared informing me that in order to edit/create a movie I had to copy the video files from the flash card (Memory Stick PRO) to the HDD. After doing so I took the chance and returned to Vegas Movie Studio 8.0 to create my movie and then used DVD Architect 4.5 to burn (this time using Memorex DVD+R) my disk and the play back was just fine. I think it had more to do with the limits of flash media than using DVD+R rather than DVD-R disks. It's just a supposition but it may explain why I got 5 to 7 minuts of video before getting that video freeze problem during playback. Thank you for your attention and inspiration. Maybe this post will help someone else find a solution.
