DVD player with VGA output?

Is there any such animal that could playback DVDs and feed a VGA splitter to go to several computer monitors without losing the unsafe areas typical of a TV monitor?

I'm looking for something that could be far more portable. All it needs to do is playback the video from a DVD into a VGA splitter with the audio feeding a Sound Board.

There are Composite to VGA adapters available.

Do you mean you WANT to see the outside safe area or you DON'T WANT to see it?

Yes, i remember seeing one such player some times ago. A cheap, chinese, otherwise standard, setop DVD player sold in a grocery... If i remember well, it was rebadged as a Koss or Kodac.
