DVD Quiz?

I want to make a DVD quiz. Essentially, there will be a question then three choices for the answer. When the correct answer is selected I want it to go to a video clip that tells you that you got it correct for a few seconds then on to a new question. When the answer is wrong, I want it to go to a page that tells you that it is wrong and then back to the same question to answer again.

My questions are these:

a.) does all this sound possible as stated.

b.) Is there a way via option or script that I can have the questions chosen randomly? So, each time you play, they are in a different order.

a) yes if using DVDA2 use end actions. I would make separate correct
answers for each question to re-emphasize the question with the answer.
Ten questions, ten correct scenes, ten incorrect scenes.

You won't be able to display any screens with the correct number answered
unless you are able to use registers. Mediachance DVDLab Pro has this
ability but not DVDA. IFOEDIT could be used but is much harder.

b) Not in DVDA. The controls in DVD players do rave random number
generators but you would need a program like IFOEDIT to use them.

Hey, thanks for the help! I have one of the DVD's made (about 8 total will be) and it came out great!

What I'm doing:

My kids loved the local series on the History Channel about the Presidents. The series was 8 hours long and was divided into 1 hour segments. I captured all 8 hours and am putting each show on a DVD. I am making a quiz at the end to test my kids (I know, I'm a mean Dad !). When they take the quiz, each question has multiple possible answers. When they get the wrong answer, they get a screen that says TRY AGAIN and are taken back to the question. When they get the right answer, they are directed to a video clip from the series that shows the context behind the answer. The first one turned out pretty cool!

Oh and yes this is for personal use only! :) (I figured someone out there would ask)

That was a really good idea. I don't have any kids, but I bet my siblings would appreciate something like that for theirs. And they (the siblings) would appreciate a break from the kids' usual videos (that they watch over and over and over....)

Glad it worked out for you. Bravo.
