Can DVD architect3 burn using this profile. In discussion with a UK technical manager for a major medai supplie he suggested that occaisional problems with older DVD players could be solved by burning the disc to DVD-ROM book type.
First off, your burner has to allow you to change the booktype, and not all burners do. Pioneer burners for example do not allow you to change the booktype on +R SL media. To find out which burners allow this, you can check the reviews at www.cdrinfo.com
That being said, DVDA doesn't have anything in it that can change the booktype - sometimes the burner will come with a utility that can do this when the machine boots. Anytime I need to set the booktype for my +R media, I just burn with Nero and I've configured Nero to set the booktype to DVD-ROM.
