The program is designed to do it, K. I even cover it in my book.

Just save the document to a folder on your hard drive and call the folder "extras" or something.

Then, in DVD Architect, as you're building your DVD, go to your File menu and select Properties. Listed among the Properties is something called Extras. Click to activate it and then browse to select the "Extras" folder where you've stored your document.

The file will be added to the DVD's root directory, where only those who browse the disc will see it.

Thanks a lot Steve!
Where might I be able to purchase this book?

"The Muvipix.com Guide to DVD Architect Studio 4.5" is available on Amazon.com and through Muvipix.com.

Hope you find it helpful!

If it's helpful...

You can also add folders in burning apps, if like many [myself included] you prefer to prepare to hdd & burn elsewhere... the Video DVD itself doesn't know or care about content it can't access/use. Read the docs/help for your burning app though -- when you go to burn a disc to Video DVD format, most expect all content to go into the DVD folder [VIDEO_TS], & you may have to use another template etc.

You can also add normal PC content like any other disc, including Autorun menus/apps, though you need to realize that many PCs have Autorun turned off entirely, so include a readme.txt file with alternate directions. On retail Video DVDs you'll see this most often with extra content & perhaps DVD player software, but you can use just about any portable software &/or Flash projectors, plus there's software to create Autorun apps with menus & content. It doesn't take a ton of cash or know-how, & can be a nice touch, especially when/if the viewer has no idea to look for extra PC content -- of course you can always let them know with an added menu page on your DVD as well.
