DVD-ROM in "Extras" folder too large?

I have an NTSC SD dual-layer project with 4 media. Each of the media also has a WMV HD file in the "extras" folder for browsing and playing on computers. Total content equals 6.3GB (74% of the media).

When I attempt to burn, I get an error msg: ! One or more files in the extra content folder are too large

Optimize-Fit to Disc pops "There is enough space available for this project. The bitrate does not need to be adjusted."

I do have one WMV HD file at 3.7GB, the others are much smaller. If I delete that file, the project will burn. Is there a file limit for DVD-ROM content?

Lost. Any advice? Darryl

I don't recall if there's any sub-limit to the size of the extras folder, but I seem to recall that it has to fit on a single layer.

Standard ISO DVD format has a maximum file size of 2GB. Your 3.7GB file is way over that limit. You may have to burn a UDF format disc. This will probably be less compatible with older players though.
