i have a toshiba sd-r 6012 dvd-r/rw writer that used to write and read media very well.

until recently, it can only write but cant read the same dvd media it has written on. i later found out that it really is writing on the dvd media because when i test it on other dvd rom, i see the data i have written.

i dont have problems writing and reading on cd-r/rw media.

i have updated my firmware and latest nero6 ultra.

am trying my luck here since ive had no luck with other forums. when i started posting concerns here ive always had no problems with replies so i am hoping for the kindness of all the vv experts out there.
