I have been making and burning movies on DVD+R with no problem. I burned a movie on a new DVD+RW and no problem. When I tryed to burn another movie on that DVD+RW it won't work. In the burn window the erase buttons are dimmed and not available.

I have Architect 2.0b and my burner is a
NEC DVD+RW ND 2100 AD

How can I reuse the DVD+RW?

In most cases you don't need erase DVD_RW before new burn. DVDArc (Nero too) can do it while new burning.
Another way: may be your NEC has old firmware and can't fully "understand" type or manufacturer of this DVD_RW?
If it's true, let's try search new firmware on NEC's offsite, or http://www.micheldeboer.nl/firmware/index.html

I tryed burning RW without eraseing and it came up with a error. I downloaded copy to DVD and used it to do a quick erase then went back to architect and everything worked.
