Please don't say DVD when you mean BD (Blu-ray Disc), as it leads to confusion. The generic term for CD, DVD and BD is "optical disc".

Example: on the disk it would be 15 races...

So what happens when you select those races from the menu?

When you double click on the race in DVDAS, does the correct file show up in the Media Properties > Track Media tab? Is the next race the Destination in the End Action tab?

Go through each race and verify each tab in Media Properties to make sure all is as expected. Something could have changed. Especially if you had to re-render a race and add it back into DVDAS.

Okay after resaving all the video's on disk 1 a total of 23 clips to the way all of you have said to, as in dvda template & doing the auido seperaly the same problem still happens.
I burnt the disk with image burn & also with the standard img burner program that comes with windows 7.

The video was made with all new menu's or from sctrach. I used the same pictures to make the menu's but thats all
in total 4 menu's
menu 1 & 2 work perfectly or race 1 - 8 with 1 interview
menu page 3 & 4 have the clip's or race's showing as the are animated but they freeze when they are being played on the dvd machines, but work fine int he computer dvd player.

I have changed the media properties to go race 1 then onto race 2 etc. they used to go back to the main menu
thats the only changes done

So I thought I'd get creative & split the disc into 2. Stopping at the menu that had the problems & put all that part onto another disc.
On this disk was race 9 - 17
The first menu works all okay except for 1 clip race 13 that never had a problem before
2nd menu worked with out an issue.
After re-saving the problem clip & burning a fresh disc again with img burn it was a different clip that gave fault race 16...
This time on menu 2 which never had an issue!
I just don't understand why it's doing this on a totally different clip.
Both discs are 2.4 gig in size.
The actual event disc before being cut was 4.2 before going to burn, only needed to render the menu system

At this point, I would do the DVD from scratch. Something has gotten corrupted in the project and you will just end up beating your head against the wall if you keep trying to modify it.

It was a whole new project before I split the disc
It all fits on 1 disc & is the way I want the project to be

I'm running out of ideas as to what's going on with your disc image.

Try this... In Make DVD > Prepare, click on Advanced and uncheck Enable smart prepare.

But then again, if you started a new project, all clips would be recoded anyway.

For kicks, post the View > Text result from MediaInfo from one of the clips that you have a problem with.

Is it just the animated button in the menu that is freezing or the video after you select the button to play it?

It might be time to copy the ISO file to a USB stick and try burning it on a different PC.

I tried what you said & remade the project with the box unticked... No change it pauses on the 3rd menu
Will be making the project over again but this time I'm not going to link any of the video's just let them go bac to the main menu again or the default.
Also will try to burn the ISo file on another PC just see what's going on.

Just to give an update.
After 2 weeks of trying different ideas & methods I have removed DVDA & reinstalled an older version
I think it's build 128... It works flawlessly & has made the project without fail. Both image & direct burn to disc have not faulted as yet. Tomorrow will watch the dish's completely from start to finish but on a quick skip over all clips they all seem to be working just fine & linking correctly to the next clip....
Just goes to show you shouldn't update your software!!!!
