Ok, bear with me, I have been using tape for 20 years!
I have put together my video, rather good I think too!, I have no problems outputing back to DV. Now am looking to make one of those SVCD's. Keep in mind up too a week ago I had never even touched a DVD player!
I rendered my project to MPeg-2, then put it into Uleads DVD factory. It said that the settings did not match SVCD and said that is could convert the file, "meaning another long render". Afterwards, I had no problem making chapter points etc.
Here's the problem,
When I checked the finished file and subsquently burned it to CD, It played with rather ugly "blocking" at each transition even most cuts, also as the video plays, the audio and video loose sync. It appears the audio trails the video by about a full sec after 25:00.
My original Mpeg is perfect!
Any Thoughts? I hope to move to a DVD burner with the after xmas sales, but for now was just experimenting with my old CD burner and an early DVD player.
