I always thought DVD-Lab was pretty straight forward to use, from adding intros before menus, animated menus, etc. The only area that I had problems in figuring out was the appearance of buttons (visible, non-visible, etc.). Haven't built a slide show with it yet, use SB instead.
Wow, that was too good. I'm trying to remember the name of the DVD creation software so often recommended here. I log in, expecting to slog through tons of posts to find what I need.
But, no, fresh posts, right at the top of the list! What other forum actually anticipates your needs?
I just checked out the DVD X Maker site and a couple other links that turned up in Google. They have only a VERY basic Shockwave demo, and it seems there is no trial version.
GerryLeacock - Based on what I can see on the web, I'm wondering how much DVD X Maker is "sort of like" DVD-Lab; DVD X Maker looks a lot like ULead, Roxio, etc. at least from the web site. I want to go a few steps beyond what is available in things like ULead's product(s), do things like have more control over menu locations and such. Would X Maker be a good middle ground between ULead and DVD-Lab?
