DVD to DV

It's easy to bring DV video to DVD.
But is it also possible to bring, transfer, copy, export or whatever DVD files (DVD movie files) to a DV tape ?
if yes, I will be delighted to hear how... if no, I will be disappointed, but thank you anyway for your reply

It is possible. If the DVD is not copyguarded, you can use Vegas 6 or higher to import the DVD and then render to a DV file.

Honestly, though I have gotten better quality by just dubbing the DVD from a DVD player and recording on the DV camera or recorder.
