guys, i have a problem. i have just burnt a dvd that i created in dvd a. now when i play back in my pc, everything is fine, but when i try to play in my dvd player (stand alone), i cant seem to get my links to play. the only thing that plays, are my menu screen, my intro. when i click scene selection, i can perfectly see all my thumbnails, but when i click on one, the dvd stops, same thing happens when i click my play all button. why is this?

thanxs!

I have no solution for you, but....

Is the word "dvd" a hyperlink to ntsearch.com in his message for anyone else?

If yes, then your computer (bodybuilders1) is infected with the NTSearch adware. If not, then mine is.

How old is your player? Have you tried the DVD on other players (like a new player) and encountered the same problem?

no i will try an other player tomorrow, the one i have in my car right now, plays everything though, thats why i'm surprised that this happened!
also i tried burning another copy of this render, only without my start item, and this time it played my titles, but it would not play all my thumbnail pages this time. meaning that it read page 1, but did not see the arrow for page 2 or 3, and so forth (even if i hit next on my remote) however on my pc it worked out fine. i even tried it on a schoolmates notebook, and it worked out fine. i guess i'll have to wait till tomorrow to see if it's just my dvd. i hope its just mine.

I'm curious why you cannot see some of your buttons. Have you placed the buttons in the title safe area, or are they on the very edge of the screen (outside of both safe areas)? When you prepare the project, is DVDA giving you any warning meesages about the buttons being outside of the safe area?

it has given me the warnings, but i have fixed the problem, anyways.......(update).......it is now tomorrow, and i tried in a different dvd player, results were........................................perfection. i gues it was my player, serves me right though for spending 60 dollars on it, i'll get a better player this time around.

thanxs for the help guys!
