DVD2 hangs on retrieving media info...

My first DVD2 project. Backgrounds, programs and Temp files are on my C drive. Vegas rendered MPEG2 and AC3 files on my G drive. Opening menu links to 2nd menu with 2 scene selection buttons. One link has 28 scenes, the other 11 scenes. Project is 2, one hour videos using 8 bit burn rate filling 4.5 G of CD-RW disc. This is just my first test burn for this project. I have a Toshiba SD-R5002 burner. DVD2 hangs at the retrieving media info screen, but hitting cancel begins the Prepare and Burn process. Is this normal? Has DVD2 retrieved the media info required for the burn? Thanks for your help in advance. John

After the prepare and burn process, (no burning occured) I get this error;

Any ideas. I'm trying to use new Memorex DVD-RW 1x-2x media. Does this matter? Any ideas? Thanks again, John.

Did you ever get a response to this question? If so, what was the suggestion you got? I'm having the same problem, with a slightly different error message.
