DVDA 2

I have DVDA 2. I have no problems using USB 2 to send my finished project to my external DVD Writer.

I do have a problem when I use Fire wire. As soon as I click "Make DVD" DVDA 2 freezes.

It cant be a problem with the writer as it burns ok with USB. The problem must lie with Firewire.

Does anyone have a solution or know where I can get a downloadable fix???

DVDA is well known for problems burning to different burners, connections, media, etc. Make sure you are using the latest build (click on the support link and go to the downloads section). Beyond the latest build, there's not likely much to be done. Sony doesn't seem to provide any updates for previous releases, and since 3.0 is the current release, I wouldn't expect to see anymore fixes for 2.0.

Since it works via USB, I'd continue with that method.
