I have noticed this happening on my last three projects using DVDA 3.0.
I start a series of multiple burns using 8X DVD-R Fuji discs ($22.00 for 50 white injet printable at Sams, by the way.)
I make sure that the burn speed is set to 8X before pressing the FINISH button to start the burn.
When it finishes and returns and asks if I want another, I say yes, since I have several to make. About the third time I say YES it comes back to ask again after that burn, but the setting has changed to 22X. It ONLY goes to 22X (which is the highest on the list).
I reset it to 8X, if I catch it. But, after a few more, it resets itself to 22X burn, again.
Very odd, and disturbing.
1) Why?
2) If the system thinks it can burn at 22X is that an indication that it really will WORK properly?
The discs are labeled 8X, but I burned one on the 22X speed. It seems OK on my player.
