DVDA and VOBs - Will it re-render

Aside from using Wobmle, does anyone know if DVDA will rerender VOBS?
Im just remastering a pile of old samples (due to a hard drive crash the master files of these jobs are gone) so im going through and using vegas to rebuild the AC3 but i really dont want to re-render the MPGs as theyre fine as they are. As this is going out as a demo, im trying to retain as much quality as i can.

So will DVDA re-render VOBS If theyre imported as video media?
sking this now will save me having to create a fake project to render so i thought someone might already know...

as for womble, i cant get my head around the interface.. with that stupid cube and what have you...

Unfortunately Vegas will re-render everything :-(
Since you don't like Womble, take a look at VideoReDo.

tired that..
i dont have an issue with womble, i just dont like its interface... so ive been using that..

I know VEgas will re-render, but i was hopign DVDA wouldnt (ie DVDA recognise that the MPG within the VOB is in fact already conformed...

I have found a workaround for the bit that need re-editing though

Im using the Virtual Dub plugin "deblocker"... im runnign a sharpness filter on the track, then the debocker... to say the results are pretty friggin awesome would be an understatement..

BUT it runs like a bag of crap when rendering out to Huffy from MPG2VOB..

at least importing the files im given 3 stereo tracks for my srround.. at least theyre not lost.. but i gota remember to turn off the DR compression when rerendering the AC3's

I just rename the VOB to MPG, and use it in DVDA. No recompression, goes right on the disc and looks fine.

Same here, as long as the VOB/MPG is compliant, DVDA will not rerender.
