DVDA Chapter Markers

Hi Guys!

I'm co-authoring a project where the boss is preparing DVDs using vegas to edit, and DVDArchitect to Author. He's gone and left out any chapter markers, so I have been adding them in using Excalibur. I have downloaded a script from VASST to export the markers so DVDA can load them, but it appears not to be working. I KNOW I've done this before and it works, for some reason this time it isn't.

I'm on Vegas 8 and DVDA 5.

Any ideas would be appreciated.

Andy

Not sure why you need Excalibur to add the markers. How many are there? Do you know where they go by timecode? If there's not many and you can see the timecodes in Vegas then you can easily add them yourself in DVDA. Double-click the big timecode display over the timeline in DVDA and type in the timecode for the marker. Press M to add it. You can even copy the timecode from Vegas and paste it into DVDA. If you've got maybe 20 or less, this is probably faster than mucking about with other methods.

Thanks for the response. I have 37 DVDs with up to 30 Markers, so I figured this would be the easiest method. I used to be a ble to get it to work a while back but no more!

I'll try yours and see how I go.

Cheers,
