I was able to prepared iso file before for bluray. Now it won't do it. When I clicked the prepare button it got to 5% making disc and 11% rendering progress and stay there and eventually it says error has ocurred while writing a file error 0x8004e02c. I have to shut down dvda. I rendered two seperate file in Vegas, imported that into DVDA set property to match the file. and click prepare, NO message to display and I click finish after that it is hang. It is a dvda bug?

ps. My system is windows 7 64 bit, 12gigs of ram with 1.45tb hard drive space

Where do your source files come from? What are their properties? What happens if you try to use the source files directly in DVDA (i.e bypassing Vegas)?

Your problem is not common so it is unlikely to be a bug in DVDA as such. More likely a software conflict, a corrupt file or some problem with your system. How much free disk space do you have for the temporary and final files? (By default, temporary files are put on your C: drive).

Thanks for your input. The source file are Cineform file. I did what you suggested import source file directly into DVDA. When I did that, the dvda screen have criscross on it and I don't know why, also it freezed the screen and eventually a warning ": An error occurred while writing a file.

I just tried a SD project just to see what is going on and it was fine., no problem. It gives me craps only on bluray project.

I got 1.45tb hard drive space, therefore I do not believed space is a problem.

Yes, DVDA may not like Cineform.

How about the originals that were encoded to Cineform? Are they AVCHD from a camera? If so, can you try using them directly in DVDA?

I don't have the original anymore. This are my master edited cineform file. I saved this file as my master video archive file. I am still unable to make bluray iso file. But here is what I've found in regards to crisscross on the dvda screen with cineform file. With DVDA pro 5.2 I can not import cineform file because I get a crisscross on the screen. I tried dvda Pro 5.0b and it is happy with cineform file, no crisscross on the screen.

I don't know this is a dvda bug or my hardware. Again, I mentioned above, no problem with SD project. Bluray project gave me problem. Do you have dvda Pro 5? if so, can you do a sample test to create an .iso file. I am not hurry to make a bluray disc now. I am just testing out the process and eventually will create a bluray disc.

Yes, I have both 5.0 and 5.2 installed, and yes I can make an .ISO file with 5.0. I mounted it and played it.
