DVDA2 recompressing video?

I used the new DVD2 (b)? the new released with bug fixes. For some reason it recompressed video I had already rendered in VV5. Have anyone else ran into this?

What template did you use when you rendered the MPEG2 file in Vegas?

As bStro indicated, the template can make a difference. I think it will recompress if you included the audio when rendering in Vegas. Make sure you use the DVD Architect template (NTSC or PAL) which doesn't include the audio in the MPEG file.

I'm not sure, I guess I'll have to look closer but I didn't change anything I've did in the past.

So do I just render without audio (with DVDA template)and let DVDA2 render the audio or must I reopen Vegas and render the audio seperately?
