DVDs Won't Play In My DVD Player.

After Completing Projects in Movie Studio 8.0 Platinum and burning in DVD Architect 4.5 the DVD Will Not play in my DVD player,Get a Disc Error Message, But Will Play on My Computer. What Am I doing Wrong ???

What type of disc are you using ? - perhaps your player can't handle the format - by that I mean either DVD+R or DVD-R - one of the 2. Whereas your PC will probably happily handle both. Would be worth a quick look at disc type and your player handling to eliminate that first.

Ok I am Using a Maxell DVD+RW Disc to put My Videos on. I got out the Owners Manual for My Zenith DVC2515 DVD Player and It Says the Unit is not compatable with CD-R or CD-RW so I assume this Also Applies To The DVD-R and DVD+RW As Well.So What Disc Am I Supposed To Use ???? After Doing some Looking around It Looks Like I Need to Buy A NEW DVD Player. Mine Is Limited to Playing Pre-Made Movies ONLY. Best Buy Has Several DVD Players For Under $ 70.00. Thanks

You probably won't have to buy a new player, but it might still be a good idea. Don't use DVD RW discs. Use DVD R. Plus or minus should be fine, but experiment. RW has a different reflectivity than does R, so stick to R. The reason I'd still consider upgrading is that it is nice to be able to test your movies on RW, but there are a lot of players that do not read RW disks.
