DVHS Settings??

I'm trying to render 720p/60 video (no audio at this point) for recording onto a DVHS deck. When I try to record and playback using a DVHS deck, I get occasional random blocking during parts of the file with moving graphics. The problem affects maybe 2% of the overall content.

Does anyone have a good custom MPEG2 setting for DVHS (720p)? I'm using 16,100,000 average and 18,100,000 max video settings and I'm still getting these errors. I thought DVHS should handle that bitrate easily. There are no errors when watching the video through the deck prior to recording.

I'm still on Vegas 5, if that makes any difference.

Use the settings recommended by Cineform on the Cineform website.
I believe it is 720 x 30P, 15meg CBR, (no VBR) 384 sound, and set the system to transport stream and the last blank to 19.4 megs bitrate. I have used these settings with no problem.

Thank you! I should have thought about going to the Cineform website. I really appreciate the help!
