Dreamawake...what's up? I finally got a chance to check out how the DVMC-DA2 works for external preview monitoring...well, it looks GREAT! (especially on a 36" TV) This is a cool piece of gear...it's worked great for capturing too...I'd definitely recommend it...hopefully Vegas 3 will have external audio previewing too to get the full feel of the project...anyhow...those are the results...later...

I'm glad to hear that all the good stuff said about the converter box in this forum paid off. I was reall hoping it was as good as the SF guys were saying.

Good to know. You didn't have any trouble outputting back to your camera/VCR? Are you using a Sony camcorder or VCR? Someone in another forum told me that it was not easy if you didn't have all the Sony stuff. But I wasn't believing them.

I haven't tried printing to tape yet but I don't see how it would be a problem...I'll be testing it out relatively soon and will keep you posted...
