Hey there,

I recently got a DX plugin (Lexicon Pantheon Reverb) and while it is listed in the Master FX window, it gives me a "failed to laod" error message in Vegas, Acid & Forge. Has osmething similar happened to anyone else? If I reinstall, will that solve it?

Thanks

The Lexicon Pantheon DX reverb is a Cakewalk exclusive and is tied to S3 Producer, as per a licensing agreement between Cakewalk & Lexicon. As a registered S3 Producer user you would have seen it in the license agreement and/or readme file that you get when you buy the program, right? Since it is not for resale, as a standalone product, and is exclusive to SONAR 3 Producer, how did you get this, ......ummm.....DX plugin anyway?

Excerpt from S3 readme file:

Top Issues in SONAR 3:

Lexicon Pantheon Reverb

Please note that the Lexicon Pantheon reverb plug-in will only work in SONAR.

BTW, I think the Lexy Pantheon's tie in to S3 is a good idea, or you will have
seen it warez'd all over the net faster than you could spit! Not good for Cake or Lexicon or for any future plugin development.

Billy,

Thanks for the info. I didn't read the fine print after installing Sonar 3P. Probably easier to assume I got a hot copy than assume I didn't take a look at the readme file...

Too bad it won't work in other apps, though, it seems to be a great verb.

Hey Jessariah,
I was hoping it wasn't a hot copy, glad to hear you are legit bro :) The Lexy Pantheon and Dreamverb are my two favorite 'verbs at the moment. At least for the short-term, I think Lexicon is testing the native plugin waters, by partnering and tying in, with Cakewalk, and is probably wanting to protect their reverb algorithms from being readily pirated. Cakewalk, OTHO, is glad to have exclusive bragging rights to Lexicon's first native reverb plugin technology in a very competitive market environment.
