Dynamic RAM Preview (Shift-B) not working well

Sirio wrote on 2/17/2017, 3:51 AM

I don't know if I am the only one, but my Dynamic RAM Preview don"t work so well. Some time I have to repeat it 3 times to have a fluid result.
Is it normal?
I have 32GB and 12GB for Vegas in the Preferences

What have you set your Build RAM to?

You've given us little to help you.

Project Settings?

Media Profile?

FXs?

As you say, you have a lot of RAM

I meant to add, what's the length of the section you're building?

Yes, Grazie's spot on. All that he identifies are relevant and there will be a limit to the length you can play this way depending on these factors.

" there will be a limit to the length you can play this way depending on these factors."

… so it would be nice to know which length your loop-region covered when using the RAM Preview.

It doesn't change, that happen with 5 seconds as well as 30 seconds.

Yes. Nothing change. It happens with different filters include Stabilizer.
I never discover why. It's not regular, some time all works perfectly, some time I have this issue. It not depend of how many filters I put.
