With GPU ON and RAM Preview set to 200, I was never able to open a second instance of V12 without having it crash either upon opening it or seconds after playing an event on the timeline (build 367 and new build 394)
After reading a thread where Laurence pointed out that he sets his RAM Preview to 0 (zero) since V11 and it makes Vegas much more stable, I decided to set my RAM Preview to 0 and that has fixed my crashing issues. I was able to open 4 instances of V12 side by side with GPU ON and all is fine now.
So there is definitely a problem with RAM Preview even if I have 16gb of Ram.
Hope this can help other V12 users and Sony in fixing crashing issues.
