Easier way to replace media

I would think that dropping a file ONTO a file in the project media would replace that file with the file dropped DIRECTLY onto it. Am I missing an easy way to replace? I know right click-eplace-browse to the file, but when I could just drop a file seems easier.

Have you tried "Add as Take"? Right Click on file and Drag onto existing Event and when you release you get options how you want to add this new media.
