Edit Control

Is it possible to use a edit controller, such as the MCS-3-USB from JLCooper with Video Factory or Vegas Video?
We get asked this question occasionally.The MCS-3 controller gives control of the time line and features Jog/Shuttle Transport and Buttons for setting up further control.

It appears that you may be able to use the MCS 3 RS-232 to an extent with either program by emulating keyboard shortcuts. These key mappings are available for viewing under the Help menu within our software. Neither Vegas, nor VideoFactory contain explicit support for this device. They are also not able to work with MIDI Machine Control, and so emulated key commands and mouse clicks would be the only way to go.
