Edit Details are definitely different from a CMX-type EDL. Edit
details are specific to Vegas and allow easy viewing and editing of:
metadata commands, event info, marker info, media paths and offsets,
regions, and selected events. All of this is consolidated into one
text menu so you can quickly access this data.

We have had numerous requests for a CMX Edit Decision List import
feature, and we will consider this for a future version of Vegas.
