Take note there is 3 version of VEGAS when buying or subscribing.

thank you...Just to add a lttle more detail, I was using Vegas Pro (edit) in Vegas Post, then a few months later upgraded to the 365 subscription model. Since the upgrade Vegas Effects doesn't seem to be linked to Vegas Pro any more...any help is appreciated.

Yes, Vegas Effects is all fine in standalone, just when I right click on a video clip in Vegas Pro, I don't get the option to edit in Vegas Effects in the menu

Make sure the file "VegasEffects.fio2007-config" is located in your VEGAS' installation directory. It is the connector between VP and VE.

Bingo ! ....that was it, the VegasEffects.fio2007-config file was in the root directory of Vegas Pro18 which I still have on the system, I simply copied it and dropped into 19 and there it was. Many thanks
