Edit Text and Begin/End

Does Begini/End have any meaning when editing text? It is seectable but any text entered in the "end" mode is never seen. I know begin/end can be used for pan/zoom and effects on text but is there any point to begin/end on the edit text dialog?

I just answered my own question,

You can have begin and end text. However, you must set the media length to less than the length of the event and you must set it not to loop in the general tab.

I have been playing with Sonic Foundry software for several years back and have found it to be some of the most solid, well conceived software of any genre. I knew there had to be a way to use this function or it wouldn't be in the interface. Sure enough, there is, but its just not documented as such.

Since the SF team has been retained by Sony, to the best of my understanding, I expect this excellent product will continue to be refined and supported.
