editing in the timeline

Based on a script of John Meyer, I have developed two scripts to support the editing in the timeline. Thanks to John to allow us to publish that. The scripts are available with a bugfix, since it has made a difference if "loop" is activated for an event or not. In that actual version, the scripts do not care about that.

There are two scripts now: to cut the event from the event-start up to the cursor position; and another one, that cuts from the cursor position up to the end of the event.

The scripts can be downloaded from our German spoken Vegas forum, as zip here (actual version is version 5):

Wolfgang,

The German Vegas forum looks like an even better forum than this one. In particular, it looks like you have far more people involved in scripting. I am glad to see this.

@ John,
I think we have not many people who try to work on scripts - unfortunately. Maybe 3 only, as far as I know. Recently, we had some discussions about that, and some nice developements - what are great to support a sound workflow for cutting and material organisation.

@ all,
I hope the downlaods work fine - if there are issues, please give me an email: ws@vegasvideo.de
