Editing Individual Audio Events in Single Audio Track

Hi.. I'm a newbie to Vegas. Was wondering how I can change the volume of individual audio events in a single audio track. For instance, I have an audio track I am using just for added sound FX. I found that I can change the volume for the entire track, but I want to change the volume for a single audio event (sound effect in my case) in this track, NOT the entire track. Can this be done? If so, how would I go about doing it. Thanks.

You can do this two ways. Either use a volume envelope, or, hang over the top of the event until the cursor changes to a hand, and drag down.

A third way would be to use the Normalize switch on that event, and then use the handle to turn down if necessary from there.
