Editing track

I selected somewhere in the project a track and used Fx contrast and brightnes. Now in the project some other tracks are influenzed too. When I use undo, it doesn't work. How can I go back to the correct settings of the other tracks? And what did I do wrong?

If you used the FX at Track Level then all the Events will be affected.

If you only want Events to have the Fx then apply at the Event level on the Timeline or in the Project Media pane.

BTW, the references we see on the Timeline are called Events. And those Events lay on Tracks. It would appear you are speaking of Events as Tracks and that those Tracks are laying on Tracks - this can get awfully confusing if we don't share/speak the same Vegas language/dictionary.

Thank you very much for your explanation.
I still don't understand, because I selected the event on the track and
than used fx. You should think that working with just the selected event will not affect the other events on the timeline?
Do you know how to act to go back to the former correct events on the track??? Otherwise I have to change a lot of things or have to start at new.
