Editing Workshop DVD's for Version 5?

--If you're a DMN viewer, sorry for the cross-posts--

I guess this question is intended for Spot...

How soon will a set of version 5 Editing Workshop DVD's be available? I'd rather not purchase the set for 4.0 if the next set will be released soon. On the other hand, if it will be a while, I'll go ahead and get the 4.0 set.

While I can’t speak for Spot, I believe the next set of DVD’s will be the next in a series. Another words, they will pick up where the first set left off and go into advanced topics. So I would get the Vegas 4 DVD Workshop set anyway if you need the foundational stuff.

John,

I would wait until at least NAB before making the purchase. Spot, is still under NDA restrictions, so he would not be releasing much information at this time.

But it reminds me of something I wanted to post.

SPOT BEFORE THE COMMUNITY PRICING EXPIRES ON THE VASST training PRODUCTS, please post a reminder before the deadline. There's a few products I want to get, but was waiting for cash-flow and for mindspace reasons.

Lanza, et al;
We are releasing more than one training product for Vegas, one that is advanced, and one that's called Vegas Fasst, which is there to get people up to speed on any changed, new, different, or otherwise features that Vegas may or may not have in it. We'll be announcing anything new at our NAB breakfast.
Buster, expiration dates on all the pre-order pricing can be seen on the VASST Training Products pages.

Spot, any chance of doing a vasst tour in the UK?

I for one would sign up for a UK session and I am sure there would be a whole lot more.

We're currently talking about it. Australia, Asia, Singapore are on the list, and we've looked into bringing VASST back to the UK. If you'd like to know more, mail me offline.
