Elgato Stream Deck - Can It Be Used For Short Cuts?

I've looked through the help topics.

Is it a simple matter of making a key board short cut and making sure you are clicked on the Vegas app?

Or is there a specific Elgato Stream Deck add on for Vegas? Hot keys. I think there is one for Premiere.

Sounds finnicky - but all I really want is a save hotkey as the time line crashes. A nice big multi colored key with SAVE BEFORE IT CRASHES IN TIMELINE key :-)

@bev-sBev I'm not aware of a VEGAS Pro plugin for the Stream Deck, but you can use BarRaider's Super Macro plugin to do pretty much anything that you'd want. This link shows using it to drive VEGAS Stream, but the principles would be the same.
